The special committee approved the ballot.  We will report it to SCOH in October the final process of the USRN balloting and since there are no conditions to be met everything should be fine.  Again, I apologize for missing this one.

Mr. Vaughn,

We really appreciate your willingness to get conditional approval for this project.  What is the time frame in which you would expect an answer?

Carol,

We will go out with a mail (e-mail) ballot and shoot for conditional approval until October when SCOH can approve.

Mr. Vaughn,

I understand that it is a problem for you all to consider Kentucky's application at a time other than the standard meeting.  But, as I mentioned in my earlier email, the railroad bridge in Central City continues to cause problems with trucks getting stuck or having to turn around to avoid it.  The city and the highway district have reached an agreement that the best way to handle this is to change the routing on US 231.  We would really appreciate it if you could poll the committee for a vote prior to the October meeting.

Carol,

I chair the USRN Committee of AASHTO, and it has been brought to my attention that your application was inadvertently omitted from our committee agenda in Branson.  I apologize.   I can poll the committee for a vote on your application if there is urgency, and I will be glad to do that.  Otherwise we will hold the application until the annual meeting.  Please let me know your preference.

Again, I do apologize for the oversight and any inconvenience that this has caused Kentucky.
